Whatever you do, find really good partners. Look for just three things.

High Intelligence
High Energy
High Integrity

You need all three. Don’t compromise on any of them.

It’s a simple bar, and I agree with every word of it.

• Without intelligence, the work hits a ceiling.
• Without energy, nothing gets executed.
• Without integrity, nothing can be trusted.

I keep coming back to this: the smaller the team and the bigger its ambition, the less room there is to compromise on people.
